I started my first treatment yesterday, I have arthritis. I am in still pain, but I see improvements. Just since I was taking pain relieve for so long, wonder why I feel acky and sore, wish I could take pain reliever. I was told if I took pain meds, this would stop the process of the interx from working.

what you are describing is quite usual, pain typically increases for few hours to few days in case of any chronic condition. After the increase, the body starts repairing process and pain will starts to diminish.

This is happening because in case of any chronic pain, the body adapts to it and moves it to a 'back burner', i.e. stop its natural healing. People can suffer for years and not been able to resolve it. It suck on the inflammatory stage, draining body's overall energy resources. In order to initiate 'forgotten' recovery (proliferation) stage, one has to re-experience the inflammatory stage once again. The InterX is capable to re-connect the site of inflammation with the central nervous system via stimulating the sensory nerve endings. This ongoing stimulation points out the sourse of 'unfinished business' to the brain and will cause self-regulating response mechanisms aimed at resolving it. Once the body completed the inflammatory stage it can now move to the recovery and remodelling stage and finish 'unfinished business'.

You should have a course of treatments until you feel that you overcame that inflammatory stage and are steady improving.

If pain comes back and you feel very uncomfortable through this aggravation, you can take mild pain medication, best not anti-inflammatories though. You should not take strong pain medication or anti-spasmodics, unless they are prescribed by your doctor. Because this medication is designed to bind with certain neuropeptides receptor sites to make a therapeutic impact, if you are treated with the InterX, the body releases own neuropeptides, but they won't be able to make effect as neuropeptides receptor sites are occupied. It will diminish the effectiveness of the InterX treatment. However, if you are prescribed that medication by your doctor, please continue taking it together with the InterX treatment. It still will be effective, but you will wait longer to achieve pain resolution.

Generally, a course of treatments should comprise of 8 to 10  half-hour treatments or if you self treat, you should have treatment every other day for a half-hour for 2 to 3 weeks in total, then you can achieve a sustain pain relief and proper functioning.
