Hi there i have just started on case studies and have some one who i have treated now x3, on his knees, which are ok when resting but at a 9 pain level when he walks and bends or crosses legs, so i scanned and treated the area, and he always reports an improvement after treatment, each treatment a week apart, and inbetween have leant him the portable interx twice.  however he came back today saying the pain is back and at a 9 after walking again, and is cynical - what is the normal number of treatments for this? how many , how far apart? and what recovery can be expected - he is around 65 had the ostearthritis for many years

Hi Sonia, hope are well. I think arthritis needs a lot of treatments and closer together so several a week. I would scan and treat the spine too, focusing on the sacrum. I would also be inclined to ask him to bend the knee then treat and straighten the knee a treat, maybe even stand up and treat. Make sure he isn't over treating when he has the device at home and it's not too strong. I found some patients get silly and over do it. I tell them less is more.

I'm new to this too but Dr Frost will have the answers.

I am 100% agree with your comment Susie, less is more... because every time we treat, we stimulate and therefore the body has to respond to this stimulation. it is important to have a space of at least a day, better two or three in between, especially if he treats himself at home.

Secondly, I found you need to have at least four weeks worth of treatments before you can start getting results. the reason is the condition is systemic and very chronic.

Lastly, if pain in the knee increases after few sessions, stop treating that knee and focus on the spine or on another knee
