Has anyone had experience with Hypermobility Syndrome/Ehlers Danlos Syndrome? I have it myself but not as bad as some. I am convinced one of my patients has it, her daughters are diagnosed Hyperbmobile. I can't seem to get on top of her back pain because each time she comes, something else hurts so I treat that on acute settings, which works very well but I'm aware I cannot over treat her as she is hypersensitive in most areas.
Janice Walker in Dallas at her InterX Therapy centre has a remarkable success with treating Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. she will be coming to speak at the International InterX conference on 15 - 16 October in London about her protocol. in essence, one has to use the protocol for neuropathic pain syndrome and treat simultaneously whole back and reciprocals and face. you can write her direct: www.interxtherapycenter.com/
Nerve point protocol is getting us somewhere, she is still in pain but after each treatment she is feeling more benefit. Her mood changes and her facial expression lifts also, this is the first time in many years she hasn't needed antihistamines for hay fever.
I find her highest readings are face, neck and shoulders rather than lower body where her primary pain is. We are finally getting some travelling of tingles on both sides of her Body too.
