There are some interesting studies being carried out to analyse the effect of interactive neurostimulation on the release of various neuropeptides and endorphines. Early results show much superior effects from the InterX compared to ordinary TENS devices. however, the work is not completed yet. Perhaps, in the near future we will learn what effects the IterX device has on various neurochemicals including serotonin and dopamin which is associated with depression.
