I have a gentleman coming to me for lower back pain, prolapsed disc and degenerative discs. He recently had a fall and cracked his skull and suffered a bleed on the brain. As a result he suffers with headaches (which are gradually improving) and has lost his sense of smell and taste. I've had some success with his back pain but seem to have hit a wall. I've suggested he let me treat his head but he is very apprehensive as the accident really shook him up. He's also slightly nervous when I treat his back. Has anyone had any experience with head injuries? Any advice to reassure of how i can reassure him? Ultimately of course it's his decision to make.
